Graduation
The Beginning of the End
Anyhow, it is finally DONE! I wanted to share with you what I've been working on for the past semester. It's also the primary reason that there have been no comics on my blog, so this is where you can direct your anger at my infrequent posts.
Yogurt
Lots of big things happening, besides the anniversary of my eviction from a placenta! Today I am going to send my senior thesis book to be printed (gasp!) and this weekend I'll get to bind it. Next week is when all of my finals are due (well, except for a lone presentation on the 9th although the project is technically due on the 2nd..). The following week is the big Senior Thesis Show, which is crazy exciting. And then what? Then I'm DONE. I'll be officially a college graduate! A few days after the senior show, my best friend is coming in to town, then my grandma, then we're having a party for my sister (she is also graduating) and me.... like I said, there is a lot happening!
So here's a comic I scribbled after babysitting a group of kids who really wanted their yogurt.

Oceana Project
Here are some photos of the project I was working on for the past few months! It came out pretty good. I'll take some better photos when I have a chance.

Stir Crazy
So here's a picture of Mo and me while she was visiting for Thanksgiving break. I miss her.

Map
Hey, wow, it has been a loooooong time. It pained me to be away from comics for so long.
My trip to Georgia was awesome! I had a great time with my two traveling buddies, Travis and Dylan. The wedding was beautiful, and the pre-party of unlimited free drinks wasn't too bad either :)
But after a hectic weekend and a week of non-stop classes, I've had absolutely no time for art. None at all. Not even a doodle. It's really sad, actually.
I do, however, have something to show you! I got the O-K to put this online recently, so I figured I'd give you a look at what I made over the summer. It's a pro-bono project for GMU's homecoming brochure that I did as a favor for my friend Andrew (hi Andrew!). As frustrating a project as it was (I never have drawn a map before, nor will I ever ever again), I'm pretty happy with the final product! You can actually navigate around campus with this! Well... except for the dorms. I kinda just let those muddle together..... WITHOUT FURTHER ADO.

progress shots
It's coming out alright. The nose put up one heck of a fight, but I think I finally got it.And oh yes! Hello blogger.com! I'm still figuring out how to use this thing.. I've never had a blog before. And I have never felt quite as nerdy. Because seriously, who's going to be reading this anyway?
