Goat
Since it seems every webcomic artist has debuted a pony character, I decided to get in on that action. If good artists copy and great artists steal, the best artists must bastardize, amiright?? And yeah, I totes stole the newsprint halftone coloring thing from Johnny Wander. Just felt like trying it out. I don't think I'll do any other comics with it.
p.s. this is my 200th post on this blog! that's a milestone, right???
Well This Is Awkward.
I don't like doing this, but I'm taking a 4 or 5 day hiatus from bloggin'. I'll be occupied this whole weekend, and the very lasty-last last thing I should be worrying about is drawing a comic. I'll have something for you next week; I'll draw shit over the weekend, it's just a pain in the ass to get it internet ready. I'm sorryyyyyyyy I know I promised everyday updates! I just can't swing it this time.

To cure my crankiness of yesterday, I drew some pin-up girls! I colored the two I like the best. Seriously, there is nothing more mindlessly entertaining to draw than cute pin ups. This will happen more often.

Double Shot Mocha, Please
Is this is my new favorite afternoon snack? Why extra espresso? Don't you feel jittery? Why are my arms so stumpy? These are al good questions that i will be addressing next episode in "Rachel is a Type of Crazy Person". Tune in.
Irrational Fears
This comic was completed with more ease than most. Strange feeling, being able to just plow through a comic without second guessing any of it.

I can't manage a comic today; I'm between classes watching The Wire for another two hours. I'll make it up with a double thingamajig tomorrow.
Sharpie
I'm working on a project for illustration class. We can only use pencils, sharpies, pens, and charcoal (b&w basically) to draw four emotion based images. I chose to use sharpies for the darkest drawing of the bunch, which I have been working on for the past 45 min or so. I had forgotten one characteristic of sharpies:
